How do I disable snap-to-grid and smart lines in Keynote so I can move things exactly where I need them?

If you are moving an element in Keynote and it is snapping in place where you don't want it to go, simple click and hold the COMMAND button while you are moving it then release the mouse and release the COMMAND key.
